Origin Story
Hey there, world! Chris at your service, here to sprinkle a little Amairis Lore into your day before we dive into the depths of our upcoming posts. And hey, I’m not alone in this adventure; my awesome partner in crime is none other than Jhosy. Yep, that’s right. We’re the dynamic duo hailing from two different corners of the map – Houston for me, and Mexico for Jhosy. But guess what? We’ve found our sweet spot right here in the RGV (that’s the Rio Grande Valley, for the uninitiated).
Now, why the RGV, you ask? Well, apart from the obvious perks of mouthwatering Mexican cuisine and living costs that won’t break the bank, there’s something about this place that just feels like home. Maybe it’s the vibrant culture, the welcoming community, or simply the way the sun kisses the palm trees just right. Whatever it is, we’ve made ourselves quite comfy here.
So, why start a blog, you wonder? Honestly, it’s a bit nerve-wracking for us. See, both Jhosy and I are more on the introverted side, preferring the cozy company of our own thoughts over loud social gatherings. But hey, isn’t that what life’s about? Pushing boundaries, stepping out of comfort zones, and diving headfirst into new adventures? We think so too.
So, here we are, mustering up the courage to share bits and pieces of our world with you all. Our goal? To not only document our own journey but also to pick up some new skills along the way – skills we hope to one day pass down to the next generation of dreamers and adventurers.
What can you expect from our little corner of the internet? Well, think of it as a mishmash of our experiences, thoughts, and maybe even a sprinkle of humor here and there. We’ll be weaving together tales loosely based on our escapades here in Texas, giving you a taste of life through our eyes.
So buckle up, folks! It’s gonna be a wild ride filled with laughter, learning, and maybe a few tacos along the way. Thanks for joining us on this journey – we couldn’t do it without you. Let’s make some memories together, shall we?
